When plastisol is worth considering

AMS custom plastisol transfers are one color only. A spot color means one selected ink, such as a solid navy, rather than a photo made from many colors.

The order wizard calls this path Single Color Bulk. For photographs, gradients, or designs that need several colors, choose the full-color DTF path instead.

Understand the two quantities

Count the usable prints, not just the sheets. Different design sizes can fit different numbers of copies. Check the preview rather than assuming a fixed number fits.

Use the minimum, setup charges, and current prices shown for your selected order. A sheet-count example is not a minimum-order promise.

SettingWhat it meansExample only
Copies per sheetHow many prints fit on one sheet4 copies
Sheet quantityHow many sheets you buy10 sheets
Total printsCopies per sheet × sheet quantity4 × 10 = 40 prints
Example only: copies per sheet × sheets = total prints. Check the actual layout.
Four design copies on a sheet multiplied by ten sheets gives forty individual prints.

Prepare the design and ink choice

Use crisp artwork at its final print size. Keep a single-color design as one solid color without gradients. Save the original file so you can check small details.

The builder supports preset ink choices and a custom PMS choice. PMS is a color reference code. Check the selected ink name or code; a screen display alone is not a physical ink sample.

Use Single Color Bulk

  1. Open Start an order → Transfers to DIY

Choose Single Color Bulk. This is the plastisol path in the current wizard.

For plastisol, the order wizard uses the name Single Color Bulk.
Choose Your Transfer Type showing DTF Transfers, Peel & Stick UV, and Single Color Bulk.

  2. Add and size your design

Use Upload my designs now, then Upload Designs in the builder. In Upload Design, check Width, Height, Qty, and the artwork choice, then choose Add to Gang Sheet.

  3. Select the ink

Choose the available preset or custom PMS option. Review the ink selection before adding the sheet to the cart.

  4. Check the sheet layout and quantity

Count prints per sheet, then set how many sheets you need. Review the total print count and the price.

  5. Review the cart and checkout

Confirm plastisol, ink, print size, sheet count, artwork review, delivery, and the current total before paying.

What if my design has several colors?

Use DTF for a multi-color design. AMS custom plastisol ordering supports one color; a multi-color file does not create a multi-color plastisol order.

For an unusual ink or specialty effect, ask AMS whether the exact product is supported before ordering. Include the design, final size, garment fabric, print count, and needed date.

Check pricing for the whole run

Compare the total for the number of usable prints you need. Sheet quantity, ink choices, setup charges, and delivery can affect the total.

For example, if each sheet contains four usable copies, divide the current sheet cost by four to compare the transfer cost per print. Include any other charges shown in the order. This does not include the garment or your pressing time.

Use plastisol application instructions

Keep the instructions supplied with your exact product. Standard plastisol has different temperature and peel steps from Instant Peel DTF.

Test one garment first. Puff and other specialty transfers can need different settings; do not add a second press unless those exact instructions allow it.
