Saving and publishing do different jobs
| Change or state | What happens |
|---|---|
| A brand-new draft store | The store is not open to shoppers. Launch Store makes the first store public. |
| Page text, page images, logo/store style, listing order and visibility | These have draft and published versions. Save your work, then Publish changes to update the public version. |
| Prices, delivery settings, product setup, and printed artwork | These do not all have a separate published copy. Saved edits can affect a live store immediately. |
| Preview store | Opens the public store after launch. It does not show unpublished page edits. |
| Preview draft | Shows saved draft pages, logo, style, and visible products to your signed-in store team. Shopping and checkout are disabled. It does not launch the store. |
| Desktop / Mobile in the page editor | Checks the page layout while editing. Use Preview draft to check saved store branding and products together. |
Check your saved store before launch
Finish saving each screen
Use Save settings for your logo and store style, Save pricing & shipping for prices, and Save layout for page edits. Wait for the saved message.
Open Preview draft
Find it at the top of your store workspace. The preview opens in another tab. Only signed-in members of your store team can open it.
Check each page and product
Use the Page menu, including All products. Check the logo, wording, pictures, and selling prices. Use Desktop and Mobile to check both sizes. For print size, colors, and placements, also check Products & Designs.
Fix anything that looks wrong
Choose Back to editing. Save the fix, then refresh the preview. This page shows saved work. It does not accept orders or prove checkout will work.
Read the save status
| Status | What to do |
|---|---|
| Saving | Wait. The latest edit is still being saved. |
| Saved | Your draft edit has been saved. Check it before publishing. |
| Unpublished changes | The saved page or store presentation differs from the public version. |
| Could not save | Keep the page open and retry. Copy any new text somewhere safe. |
| Live | The store is public. This alone does not prove that every page draft has been published. |
Publish an existing store’s page changes
Finish saving
Wait until your latest edits are saved. Use the page editor’s Desktop and Mobile previews.
Choose Publish changes
Publishing can include other saved pages, listing presentation, and store style from the same campaign. Check the whole draft before you publish.
Open Preview store
Refresh the public page. Check the exact page, product list, and logo you changed. Share the public shopper link when it is correct.
Launch a new store
For a new store, go to Store Launch → Launch. Review its checklist and your own product and delivery checks, then choose Launch Store when you are ready. Look for “Your store is now live!” before sharing.
If you are only practicing, leave the store in draft. Preview draft lets you review your saved work without making it public.
What to do next
Instructions checked against the app on . Pictures use fictional practice stores. Prices in pictures are examples; use your store’s current values.
