Build and check a gang sheet

Put several designs or copies on a sheet, then check the sizes and counts before adding it to your cart.

Read as Markdown ↗

You will: Build a sheet for the correct transfer type and catch missing or incorrectly sized prints.

What you need

  • The transfer type: DTF, UV DTF, or plastisol.
  • Artwork, print dimensions, and copy counts.
  • For plastisol, an ink choice and the number of sheets.

One sheet, several prints

A gang sheet groups prints together. You can use different designs or repeat the same design. Each design still needs its own print size and count.

Start with a short list. For example: 10 front designs at 10 inches wide, plus 10 small designs at 3 inches wide. That is 20 prints, even though they may share sheets.

Start with the correct transfer type

  1. Open Start an order → Transfers to DIY

Choose DTF Transfers, Peel & Stick UV, or Single Color Bulk for plastisol.

  2. Choose Upload my designs now

Use an existing file, or choose the artwork option that fits your project. Confirm the transfer type in the builder before arranging the sheet.

Add, size, and count the designs

  1. Add the artwork

Use Upload Designs for the first file, or Upload New Design for another one. The Design Library and AI artwork paths are also available where shown. Review any credit quote before a paid artwork action.

  2. Set Width and Height in Upload Design

Wait for the preview and Auto-Trim to finish, then check both dimensions in inches. Auto-Trim removes blank space and can change the dimensions. Keep the aspect ratio locked to preserve the design’s shape.

Wait for the preview and Auto-Trim. Then set the print size and Qty. This practice example has four 3-inch prints.

  3. Set Qty, choose the artwork option, and add the design

Qty is the number of individual prints. Front and back designs need separate counts. Read How should we print it? and any price or approval steps, then choose Add to Gang Sheet.

  4. Fit the layout

Choose Auto-Build on the canvas. Some desktop quick-start screens call it Auto-Nest. Check the resulting sheets and any warnings; fitting a layout does not approve its artwork.

Upload Design: check Width, Height, Qty, and the artwork choice, then Add to Gang Sheet. This is synthetic practice artwork; use the current options and prices on your screen.

Need to edit, fit, or save the sheet?

For plastisol, check the ink and sheet quantity too

Choose the ink before adding a plastisol sheet to the cart. Copies per sheet and sheet quantity are different: four copies on each of ten sheets gives 40 prints.

Check the current quote and minimum for your order. Do not reuse a DTF price, quantity assumption, or turnaround choice for plastisol.

Review every sheet

Open the proof when the flow asks you to review it. A proof is the layout or artwork shown for your approval. Do not approve a blank or missing preview.

Sheet review

Check each item as you go. This checklist resets when you leave the page.

Add to Cart, then check what is being bought

Choose Add to Cart. If you are editing a sheet already in the cart, the button can say Update Cart. Recheck the cart after changes.

A sheet preview is not a paid order. The cart and checkout must still show the correct items, artwork choice, delivery, and total. For ready-to-wear items, use the finished-apparel or Press It For Me choices and review the garment placements.
