No. Laser engraving works best with single-color or grayscale designs. Full-color gradients, photographic detail, and multi-color artwork will not reproduce effectively with this method. Design with bold lines, solid fills, and high contrast for the best results.
The Kota Pro adhesive is heat-activated. Place the patch on your fabric and apply heat using an iron or heat press. The adhesive is not sticky until heat is applied, giving you time to position the patch precisely. Once heat is applied, the bond becomes permanent.
The patch is 3" in diameter. Your design should fit within a 2.8" × 2.8" square to ensure clean edges and professional appearance. Designs that extend too close to the perimeter may lose detail or clarity.
Yes. Faux leather patches with properly applied heat-activated adhesive are durable through normal washing and wear. Avoid high-heat drying and excessive abrasion, especially immediately after application while the adhesive is still setting.
