The problem
The logo came in at 220 px wide — pulled from a website — and was being stretched to an 11 inch front print. Edges would have printed soft and stair-stepped.
What we did
Redrew the mark as clean vector art at full print size, so every edge stays sharp at any scale.
What we fix
- Low-resolution logos pulled from a website or a screenshot
- White or colored background boxes that should be transparent
- Hairline strokes and small type that would drop out on fabric
- Wrong color mode, flattened layers, and stray artefacts
- Off-center or badly cropped placement
- Files that arrive in the wrong format entirely
What we can’t
- Invent detail that was never in the file — a 200 px logo has a ceiling
- Redraw someone else’s trademark or licensed character for you
- Design a logo from scratch (that’s the AI Design Studio)
- Guarantee an exact Pantone match from an RGB screenshot

Is the free file check really free?
Yes. Every AMS gang sheet order includes a File Fix review at no charge — a real person opens your artwork and checks it against what the printer will actually do. You only pay if you want that review to jump the queue and come back faster.
What is the difference between the paid tiers?
Only speed. The work performed is identical; the paid tiers move your file ahead of the standard queue so corrections come back within 48 hours, 24 hours, or the same business day.
Will you print my file exactly as I uploaded it if I want?
Yes. Choose "Print Exactly As Uploaded" and we send it to the printer untouched. We will still flag anything that looks likely to cause a problem, but the decision stays yours.
Can you fix a logo I only have as a screenshot?
Usually. We redraw small or low-resolution marks as clean vector art so they hold up at full print size. Where the original is too degraded to recover faithfully, we tell you before charging anything.
How will I know what changed?
You get the corrected file back for approval before anything prints, so you can see the before and after side by side and ask for adjustments.
Does File Fix slow my order down?
The free tier adds 2 to 5 business days because it works through the standard queue. If you need to keep your original turnaround, the paid tiers exist specifically for that.
