3D UV Printing applies full-color graphics and photographs directly to the surface, ideal for logos, images, and multi-color designs. Laser Engraving etches text and line art into the walnut or plate for a crisp, timeless look. You can use either method alone or combine them—for example, laser-engrave a name below a UV-printed logo.
The recommended decoration area is 6.5" × 7.5", which leaves a balanced margin on all sides. This keeps your design centered and professional-looking while protecting the scalloped corners and border. Your artwork should fit within this zone for best results.
American Walnut is a solid wood that develops character and patina over time indoors. While not designed for weather exposure, it's ideal for protected office, boardroom, and indoor trophy displays where you want a premium, long-lasting appearance.
Yes. Laser Engraving works excellently for text, dates, and fine line details on both the walnut surface and the Sapphire LaserFX brass plate. Provide your text during upload, and the engraving will be sharp and permanent.
Confirm the file specifications during the upload process. Generally, high-resolution files (300 DPI or higher) and common formats like PDF, PNG, or JPG work best. Your design should fit the 6.5" × 7.5" decoration area to avoid awkward cropping or scaling.
The Sapphire LaserFX plate is a brass-plated steel component with a polished finish. Over time and with normal handling, the gold border may develop a subtle patina, which is characteristic of quality brass and adds to the plaque's timeless appeal. Occasional gentle polishing will restore the shine if desired.
