The flat palm surface (the wider, flat side) is your decoration zone. Both laser and 3D UV methods work here, leaving the handle curved and grip-friendly. You get a full 3.3" × 3.3" square space to work with—plenty for logos, text, or small illustrations.
Laser engraving creates a natural, durable wood-burned look—great for monograms, fine line work, and a minimalist aesthetic. 3D UV printing adds color and allows more complex designs, but the bamboo grain can influence how colors appear. Test both if you're unsure which matches your brand better.
Not directly. Laser files need to be vector-based with just line weights (no fills or color). 3D UV artwork can include color, shading, and raster elements. You may need two versions of your design—one simplified for laser, one full-color for UV. Discuss this with your decorator before uploading.
Yes—this is a solid size for brand marks, logos, and short text. Avoid super fine details (thinner than 0.5pt lines may not engrave cleanly), but most business logos and wordmarks will render beautifully. Order a sample to confirm your specific design translates well.
For laser: vector files (PDF, AI, EPS) are ideal; if raster, use 300 DPI minimum. For 3D UV: provide 300 DPI minimum for raster images; vector files are also accepted. Always include your full-color artwork, even if you're doing a one-color laser job—the decorator can convert it. Color mode: RGB for UV, Grayscale for laser.
Always request a proof or sample before running the full order—this catches color, placement, or design issues early. Bamboo grain varies naturally, so color vibrancy in laser (browns and tans) may shift slightly unit to unit. If you're unhappy with a finished run, that's between you and your decorator; budget for a test sample in your project planning.
