Unlike real leather, it is inherently water-resistant, resists staining, and requires no conditioning or special care. The material is durable enough for daily use on hats, jackets, and outdoor gear, making it ideal for branded applications where longevity matters.
Laser engraving etches the surface of the leatherette, creating a sharp, high-contrast mark. The laser removes material from the patch surface, revealing contrast that makes logos, text, and line artwork stand out clearly. Laser engraving produces monochrome, contrast-based designs—not full color. If your artwork includes multiple colors, gradients, or photographic elements, you'll need to convert it to a single-color design suitable for engraving.
