Laserable leatherette is a high-quality synthetic material engineered to mimic genuine leather's look and texture while offering superior durability for everyday use. It resists water spots, cleans easily with a soft cloth, and won't crack or fade like real leather. The MDF base adds structural support, making this tray suitable for repeated use as a serving piece, desk organizer, or display item.
Laser engraving creates sharp, crisp marks by vaporizing a thin layer of the leatherette surface, producing a high-contrast black-on-gold or black-on-black effect—ideal for monograms and text. 3D UV printing deposits ink onto the surface for full-color designs, logos, and photographs. Both methods are permanent and won't rub off with normal use.
Your decoration area is 11.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall, running across the front of the tray. This is plenty of space for a company logo, personal monogram, or meaningful message. The conservative margin protects the rest of the tray's elegant finish while keeping your design prominently visible.
Yes, if you choose 3D UV printing as your decoration method. Full-color photos, gradients, and multi-color logos reproduce beautifully on the leatherette surface. Laser engraving, by contrast, is limited to single-color (contrast) designs, making it perfect for crisp text and simple graphics.
For laser engraving, vector files (AI, PDF, EPS, SVG) produce the sharpest results. For 3D UV printing, high-resolution digital files (300 DPI minimum) work best—JPG, PNG, or PDF. Avoid low-resolution web images. Your design should match your decoration area dimensions (11.5" × 2") to ensure proper placement without distortion.
This tray is designed for versatile use. The water-resistant leatherette surface and MDF construction make it suitable for serving beverages or appetizers, organizing desk items, displaying corporate gifts, or framing a custom design as wall décor. Its durability and elegant finish work well in both professional and personal settings.
