PRESS-SIDE ANSWERS

Instant Peel FAQ.

Can I really peel an AMS DTF transfer immediately?+

Yes. Once the heat press opens and clears the garment, the carrier can be peeled while the shirt is still sitting on the platen.

Do I need to remove the shirt before peeling?+

No. Keeping the garment on the platen for the peel is one of the primary workflow benefits.

Does Instant Peel have to be peeled hot?+

No. AMS Instant Peel transfers may also be peeled warm or cold when that fits your workflow better.

Does Instant Peel cost extra?+

No. Instant Peel is standard on AMS DTF transfers; it is not a premium film option or paid upgrade.

What press settings should I use?+

Use 305 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 seconds at high-to-firm pressure, peel immediately, then finish press for 10 seconds.

Does Instant Peel change how the transfer looks or feels?+

The primary difference is workflow at the press. It is not a claim that the artwork suddenly looks or feels different.
