Use the pack like a real test

Know what each transfer can tell you

A loose transfer shows AMS print output. Your pressed result also includes the garment, press, pressure, placement, and application process—so start with one representative test before pressing the whole stack.

3 inches

Compact marks, small text, and fine-detail scale.

A scale reference—not a universal garment-placement rule.

4 inches

Mid-size graphics and moderate detail.

A scale reference—not a universal garment-placement rule.

6 inches

Larger color areas, gradients, and medium front-art scale.

A scale reference—not a universal garment-placement rule.

Full size means full size

We check the complete mailer, cut lines, and protected promo area. Artwork may rotate when it stays safely inside its panel; we do not crop or quietly shrink your seven choices.

Your sample is a test, not a souvenir

  1. Read the current instruction card.
  2. Choose one shirt you are comfortable using as a tester.
  3. Check the shirt, pressure, placement, edges, color, detail, feel, and adhesion.
  4. Stop and ask for help if the first result is off.

Your best next test

Not sure about press access? Keep the free transfers, then choose finished apparel only if you want AMS to handle an application test.

We check the pack, not just the artwork

In 2025, AMS had a batch of rigid sample mailers rejected. That lesson stuck: a sample only helps if it arrives protected and ready to test. The full-size check keeps every selected transfer inside one panel and away from the cut lines.

If something changes: an unavailable design, invalid recipe, or changed apparel option is called out for review. Your unaffected locks and free-sample draft stay saved; a paid apparel order is never duplicated to retry its linked sample.

Step 2 · Where should it go?

Where should we send your seven verified transfers?

Lock all seven designs to continue

You get the complete design picker and full-mailer check before we ask for contact or delivery details.

Optional

No heat press? Compare a blank or an AMS-finished result

Transfers make sense when you want to test small and control the press. Finished apparel can make more sense when you do not have a press, time is tight, or you want AMS to handle placement and application. Apparel stays optional.

No thanks — just send my free transfers
Lock your seven free designs and pass the full-mailer check first. We load live apparel only if you reach this optional step.

Questions about this seven-transfer kit

Is the transfer sample really free?

Yes. No purchase is required. Standard shipping or Houston pickup is free; faster shipping and apparel are optional.

Can I choose my sample designs?

Yes. Spin, lock, unlock, and respin until seven unique Design Library designs are selected.

Do I have to buy a shirt?

No. Apparel is optional. You can request only the seven transfers.

Can AMS press the designs for me?

Yes. Optional finished apparel uses live catalog pricing and supported print placements.

Can I personalize every design?

No. The Edit option appears only on supported templates. Your text, font, color, and placement recipe is saved first; production artwork is created after submission or when finished apparel is prepared.

Do I need a heat press?

A loose DTF transfer needs compatible heat-press equipment for application. If you do not have press access, optional finished apparel lets AMS handle the supported print placements.

Can I reuse one design on more than one apparel placement?

Yes. Any of your seven locked designs may be assigned again on another supported finished-apparel placement.

What happens if I leave apparel checkout?

Your sample stays a draft and is not submitted. Remove the apparel to restore direct free submission, or return to finish checkout.
