# Recover a vector conversion or interrupted render

Choose the right next step for a changed quote, unfinished conversion, refused size or interrupted render.

## Return to the existing work first {#section-1}

Use the same owning account and reopen the intended source or saved vector. A slow response, closed dialog or network error does not prove the operation failed. Check for a completed result or retained request before starting another conversion.

To reopen vector sizing, use the My Designs picker inside Gang Sheet Builder or the My Designs drawer inside Studio.

When the render response is uncertain, Retry render and add to sheet continues the retained request. Keep the existing browser recovery data while resolving it.

Resolve the retained request before starting another conversion or render.

## Match the visible state to the next action {#section-2}

| Visible state | Next step |
| --- | --- |
| Price or source changed | Check the intended version and review the new quote before explicitly starting. First resolve any existing pending operation. |
| Not enough credits | Check the current balance/top-up result. Returning with credits does not automatically start conversion. |
| Other conversions still processing | Let existing work finish; do not multiply fresh submissions. |
| Conversion did not succeed or source was refused | Read the failure message, preserve the original and correct the source when needed. Check the new quote before another explicit attempt. |
| Render response interrupted or unknown | Reopen the saved vector and retry the retained request. Unknown is not a confirmed failure or refund. |
| Confirmed invalid size or size does not fit | Choose Edit sizes when offered, reduce/correct dimensions and submit the corrected sizes. Do not lower render resolution to force a fit. |
| Saved size history could not load | Enter the intended sizes manually when the UI allows it; do not reconvert just to recover history. |

## Separate credit settlement from delivery {#section-3}

A successful conversion is charged when its valid preview is ready, even when declined. A definitive technical conversion failure releases its reservation. An unresolved submission can require reconciliation; an interrupted response does not promise an immediate refund.

Rendering another supported size from the same approved vector is not another conversion. Do not buy credits or reconvert solely because a size request lost its response. A delivery/download error also does not establish conversion failure; vector downloads are intentionally unavailable.

## Give support the existing operation context {#section-4}

- Page/tool used, source or saved design/version identifier if shown, and exact visible status.
- Approximate start time with time zone and whether a completed preview or approved saved vector appears.
- Requested physical width/height and copy counts, plus the selected sheet dimensions for a size refusal.
- Displayed credit amount/reservation and a screenshot with private details removed.

> **Keep in mind** Do not send passwords, authentication codes, card details, access tokens, signed file links or private bearer URLs. Ask support to inspect existing work; do not create a new paid conversion to make the error disappear.
